Graphite Stopper Rod

The graphite stopper is a critical component of the molten metal flow control system, used to regulate the flow of molten metal from the nozzle to the mold in casting systems.

Applications

These products are primarily used in the casting processes of various metals, including gray and ductile iron, as well as aluminum and copper alloys. Graphite stoppers are produced in open-end and closed-end types for ductile and gray iron.
